Each class begins with a group warm-up, then you get to sing your song with Mitch, a great paino accompaniest and musical director. He'll give you specific notes on how to make your singing better and more fun - for you and the audience. Beth and Greg will give you advice on how to communicate more through the material. And class ends with a group sing!

+ Expand your dynamic range
+ Develop your authentic voice
+ Be a better communicator
+ Learn to be a better listener
+ Sharpen your timing
+ Heal back and neck pain (no kidding, it worked for Beth!)
+ Infuse more fun and joy into your life

This workshop is led by Beth Lapides & Greg Miller and the awesome Mitch Kaplan. Beth's Musical Director and songwriting partner in her mind-expanding show "100% Happy 88% of the Time". Mitch has been Musical Director for Ana Gasteyer (SNL), Tony Award-Winner Cady Huffman and for comedy icon Sandra Bernhard for over 20 years. He's been featured performing on HBO and Will & Grace and has performed on every continent except Antarctica. His songs have been recorded by Chaka Khan, Thelma Houston, Sister Sledge and Martika (which won him a gold record) and has accompanied legendary vocal coach Seth Riggs working with the likes of Madonna, Annie Lenox and Janet Jackson, and now he's going to accompany you at this conscious karaoke class!

* There are lots of sites online to download any song you want - get the voice & piano arrangement. Here's one site that doesn't require special software. Most songs are around $5. If anyone has a better site to recommend let me know so I can post it.
