Part of being creative is remembering to seduce your muse! Yes! Your muse needs to be seduced. And sometimes part of that seduction is taking your muse out - like to a muse-um.

Or even farther out. Like to an oasis of beauty in the Berkshires.

There's a certain kind of alchemy that happens when we teach at Kriplau.I bring everything I have - all my TV, radio, theater, club work. All my writing work. My teaching experience, and my life experience - loving, singing, cheerleading, and practicing on my mat.  All the seducing of my own muse. And Greg brings all his coaching, writing, producing, living, loving and yoga too. But when we teach at Kriplau - Kriplau brings something as well.

Not to mention some time away from the chores. Oh those tedious chores! It's all well and good to chop wood and carry water (although not old growth and not in a plastic please:) but once in a while the creative spirit needs to chop and carry less. To put that muscle into reimagining. Put that muscle into creative risk taking. This is the realm of the un-daily. The realm of inspiration.The realm of Kripalu.

And then you can go home and chop wood carry water and pound out the pages and do the gigs. And be a better friend. And be a better worker. And be a better sister and father and a better playmate and a better child of the universe. With your seduced muse floating along beside you. Feeling taken care of. Inspiring you.
