Putting the muse in music!

Last year at this time I was performing a workshop version of "100% Happy 88% of the Time" at the Writer's Boot Camp in Santa Monica and a gentelman named Clifford Bell came to see it. I'd met Clifford at MBar late one Sunday afternoon a month or so before that, in the transition between our teaching Comedian's Way class and his teching a show he was producing that night.

"I always knew we would meet, and something magical would happen" he said. "You are Un-Cabaret and I am Cabarabia. It's like matter and anti-matter colliding!" Magic, fate, anti- matter? I liked him immediately. Big twinkle in the eye.

He loved the show but thought it would be sooooo much more wonderful if it were musicalized.

Less Thinking! More Singing! (Cabarabia Meets Un-Cabaret at The Sunday Salon)

Please join us for the maiden voyage of THE SUNDAY SALON, a new collaboration between comedy guru Beth Lapides ("Un-Cabaret") and brilliant cabaret impressario Clifford Bell ("Cabarabia").
