ABOUT BETH
Beth Lapides is a comedian, author, speaker, and creativity coach who makes work—and helps other people make theirs.
She is best known as the creator and host of UnCabaret , the groundbreaking show that helped define alternative comedy and continues to bring artists and audiences together in a uniquely alive, in-the-moment experience—creating rooms that are not just filled, but activated.
She creates original work that lives at the intersection of comedy, culture, and personal transformation—work that’s as interested in how we live as what we make.
Her work spans stage, page, and voice—comedy, storytelling, and performance—often exploring what it means to navigate change and create meaning in real time. Her solo showIt’s A Lot blends humor with personal narrative; her audiobook So You Need To Decide was named one of Vulture’s Best Comedy Books; and her current project, Pick Your Next Project, is a guided experience that helps people choose what to make next—and begin.
At the same time, she works closely with artists, writers, performers, and leaders—helping them shape ideas, make decisions, and move projects into the world.
What connects all of it is how she thinks.
Beth has a rare ability to listen deeply, see patterns quickly, and connect ideas across disciplines, experiences, and moments of change. She works at the intersection of intuition and structure, creativity and execution—helping people move from uncertainty into clarity, and from ideas into action.
She’s as comfortable talking about structure and strategy as she is about intuition, signs, and the unseen forces that shape a creative life.
In a time when everything is shifting—culturally, creatively, personally—the ability to choose what to make, and how to move forward, is essential.
Beth’s work—her own and the work she supports—lives in that space.
If you’ve ever thought, “I want more access to how she thinks,”—this is where that begins.
